Renovation of New Center Near the Finish Line– Need Help

Renovation

Morgan Burnham gave us the following message:

Members and Friends of SASMC,

It has been an incredibly fortuitous turn of events leading up to our current position at 257 Hildebrand. It’s been a continual gathering of magic and community; volunteers, skilled laborers, leadership, fundraising, and all kinds of other activities and aspirations for this to happen.

Now we are in the final stretch of phase 1 which takes us to the appraisal and starts the actual financing of the building. All of the phase 1 renovation efforts must be complete by next week.

Again, I’m reaching out to you good citizens to sieze the initiative and see this project through to completion on time. If you are available to help with the remaining projects please contact Mr. Troy Marlow (210) 505-1815 directly to coordinate.

It is clear that for most of us the obstacle to volunteering is not will but means. Speaking for myself, it is difficult to juggle a busy life and affectively help with building a new Shambhala Center. Please do not feel excluded or disparaged if you have meant to help out but are too busy.

Possibly the most helpful thing you could contribute at this point would be a monetary donation. We are taking on another skilled laborer at the building to help Mr. Marlow keep up the fever pace to completion. This expense exceeds our current budget for the project but time is of the essence and we can’t afford to fall short of our appraisal window. If a donation of any ammount is within your means, please consider helping to fund the skilled labor that is much needed to finish this job.

Personally I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at 257 Hildebrand very soon. It’s going to be great; getting our roots down and beginning to grow out, furthering the Shambhala Dharma.
