In this pilot weekend program, we will receive and practice together the “Sadhana of Kindness”, a meditation practice text composed by Sakyong Mipham. This Sadhana is part of an outpouring of writings on kindness by the Sakyong begun while on retreat in the valley of Yang Le Shö in Nepal in 2015, and completed in January 2017 while on retreat at Kalapa Valley in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The lung, a "reading transmission" that provides permission or authorization to practice the “Sadhana of Kindness,” will be offered Saturday morning. We will practice the Sadhana together over the weekend, and explore supporting teachings on ordinary kindness and exchanging self for other. This program is open to everyone.

"Sakyong Mipham will introduce the “Sadhana of Kindness” to the International Shambhala Community at Harvest of Peace in September 2018. I am delighted that we can pilot a “Sadhana of Kindness” practice program for the Sakyong when I am in Texas in February. To practice this extraordinary Sadhana together feels like the right gift at the right time kind of moment. I look forward to it very much." - Acharya Moh Hardin

Note: You will be provided with a copy of the Sadhana for use at the Center during the program, however these copies are never to be removed from the Center for personal use. Thank you.
