Mamo Chants
February 19-27, 2014
Click here for the daily schedule.
Everyone is invited to participate in the Mamo recitation practice during dön season.
The period of time just before Shambhala Day is known as the dön season. During this time all practitioners are invited to participate in the mamo recitation practice. The practice will be led by a senior practitioner. We recite the mamo chants together in order to purify the karmic causes of personal, social, and environmental chaos that accumulate at year’s end.
The mamo chant is a protector practice by which we tune in to the protector principle of awareness and reconnect with sacred outlook. It’s like cleaning house in anticipation of the new year.
I would like to attend your session on tuesday night but would like to know what do i need to bring and what to expect. Thanks

There’s nothing to bring — just yourself!
